Summer Courses in visual, applied & performing arts at the MSA

More than forty-five courses in visual, applied and performing arts will be organised by the Malta Society of Arts during the summer period at its premises, Palazzo de La Salle, 219 Republic Street Valletta. Each of the visual and applied arts courses consists of nine sessions of two and half hours each, once a week Monday to Saturday as per Time-Table. As regards the Human Figure – Nude, lessons are held Monday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm or 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Courses start from the second week of July and come to an end on the first week of September 2014. Music lessons are also held in the afternoon on Mondays till 8.00pm.

Visual Arts Courses: Art for Children 4 – 6 years, Art for Children 7 – 10 years, Art for 11 years and over, Art for Leisure 50+, Arts & Crafts 6 – 10 years, Clay Modelling, Human Figure – Nude, Manga Art, and Wood Sculpture.

Applied Arts Courses: Cake Decorating 12 – 15 years, Cake Decorating 16 years and over, Cake Decorating Part ll, Cottage Crafts, Crochet, Dress Making, Embroidery, Embroidery in Gold, Ganutell, Cross Stich, Cut Work, Hansa, Hardanger, Patchwork, Glass Painting, Parchment, Plastic Canvas, Knitting, Lace Making, Monastery and Tailoring.

Performing Art Courses: Drama for Fun (10 – 15 years), Guitar (Electric/Acoustic/Classical), Pianoforte, Violin, Theory of Music and Voice Studies (Pop/Classic).

A first come-first served system is being adopted for bookings.
