No fewer than 46 artists have submitted original works for this year’s Malta Society of Arts Members’ Annual Art Exhibition.
The majority of the entries are executed in oils with the subjects varying from portraits and still lifes, to landscapes and abstracts. Among the other media used are acrylics, watercolours, pastels, photography, limestone, ceramic and mixed media.
The exhibition, sponsored by Vee Gee Bee Art and Delicata Winemakers, is being held from 26 September to 31 October, 2014, at Palazzo de La Salle, Republic Street, Valletta. Opening hours are:
26 – 30 September: Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 12:00hrs
1 – 3 October: between 08:00 and 15:00hrs
4 October (Notte Bianca): 19:00 and 24:00hrs
6 – 31 October: Monday to Friday 08:00 and 19:00hrs, Saturday 09:00 hrs to Noon.
