London College of Music

The London College of Music (LCM) is an international examination board offering graded and diploma qualifications in music, drama and communication in a wide range of subjects for all ages and genders.

Examinations

Practical and Theory Examinations are held worldwide, including Malta, where The Malta Society of Arts has been the sole representative for the London College of Music examinations over the past 90 years.

These exams are held bi-annually in Summer and Winter.

Summer Session Examiner

Louisa Worssam

Louisa Worssam is a singer and pianist. She is a performer, teacher, and examiner for the London College of Music. She also accompanies, particularly for singers and oboists.

She trained with Mary Thomas (Academy of Music) and later with Emma Kirkby. She was a choral scholar at Kings College London. She learnt violin whilst at school, and also had lessons in cello and flute.

As a singer she specialised in both early music and modern music, working with contemporary composers such as John Tavener and Philip Glass. She has been part of several recordings.

She has recently set up her own dramatic society where she directs productions. In the last year she has directed The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, DNA by Dennis Kelly and is currently working on SIX the Musical (Teen Edition) by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss.
