LCM Examiner for Winter Pratical Exam 2013

Mr Godfrey Turner, FLCM, LTCL, LRAM, ARCM, McollP, examiner of the London College of Music, will be examining in Malta between the 16th and the 31st October 2013.  He will be examining candidates for the Diploma and Grade Examinations of the London College of Music.  About 241 candidates will be taking these examinations at the Malta Centre, Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta.  VLT 1116.

The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce has been representing the London College of Music for the past 93 years.

Mr J Godfrey Turner, who lives in Bradford in the north of England, has been an examiner since 1978, and was last in Malta in 1998, 2005 and 2009.

Before taking early retirement many years ago, he was Director of Music at a Grammar School in Halifax which was famous for its very successful Concert Band which toured Austria regularly in the Summer holidays.

Mr Turner also moderated GCSE music for many years.

He has examined all over the UK, and abroad in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, USA and Ireland.
