Da-Hee Kim, Concert pianist ( South Korea )
Da-Hee Kim ( 1990 ) was born in Seoul in a musical family. She made her debut with Seoul Symphonic Orchestra at the age of 10 and gave recitals in Seoul Art Centre and Kumho Art Centre by invitation. In 2001 she comes to France with her family and in the next year, she is admitted at Paris Conservatoire in the class of Bruno Rigutto. She got the diploma with very good result in Piano and she also got five other diplomas in Piano Accompaniment, Harmony, Chamber music, Counterpoint and Fugue. Eager to develop her pianistic quality, she entered University of Performing Arts Munich in the class of Elisso Virsaladze. After obtaining Master class diploma, she studied with Pierre Reach to prepare International Competitions.
She gained 1st prizes in Albert Roussel International Junior Piano Competition, Pianoopen International Competition and Gran Prix in the Valletta International Piano Competition in Malta. She played in several festivals in Europe such as Festival Chopin a Paris, Festival de Villeveyrac, Festival Europeen de Jeunes Talents, les Musicales de Bagatelle. Interested in Chamber Music, she plays in duet with her brother(super soloist in Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra) and they released their 1st CD in Lyrinx label in October 2014 with Strauss and Debussy sonatas. Da-Hee is invited with her brother in Grenoble Museum, Hotel de Soubise and Festival d’Uzerche for solo recital.
