Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel, pianist

Information: The distinguished American pianist Jeffrey Siegel has been invited by the Malta Society of Arts to give two concerts in May in the renovated Concert Hall. These concerts will be part of Siegel’s ongoing KEYBOARD CONVERSATIONS® series, a highly polished concert-with-commentary in which lively, incisive remarks precede virtuoso performances of piano masterpieces. This second concert’s programme will include LEONARD BERNSTEIN’s excerpts from West Side Story and ‘Meditation on a Wedding’ (unpublished – Malta premiere), as well as GEORGE GERSHWIN’s ‘I Got Rhythm’ and ‘Rhapsody in Blue’. The night will conclude with a short Question and Answer session in which the audience is encouraged to participate.
