In 1948, Anthony was born in Qormi but now lives in St. Julians. He studied art at the Government School of Art, St. Joseph Technical (Ceramic) School, M.C.A.S.T. Ceramic School, Targa Cap and the Academy ‘Pietro Vannucci’ in Perugia, Italy.
As a painter, sculptor and designer, he had solo exhibitions, some of which were held at Don Bosco Institute (Gozo), German Maltese Circle (Valletta), Sta Margerita Chapel (San Gwann), Gran Hotel Corinthia (San Anton, Balzan), Archaeological Museum (Valletta), Mediterranean Centre (Valletta), National Museum of Fine Art (Valletta) and in a number of foreign countries.
In 1984, Anthony won the Bronze Medal, International Postal Union Art Competition in Lugano, Switzerland. In 1986, he won another Bronze Medal of the same competition in Rome, Italy.
His works can be found in numerous Maltese households, National Hospitals, the National Fine Art Museum, German Maltese Circle, Heritage and restaurants all over the Island. He has also exhibited works in London, Helsinki, and Perugia. Besides the current exhibition, Anthony is planning a Retrospective Art Exhibition in 2014.
