Seħer il-Baħar is a visual art exhibition disclosing Anna Galea’s latest evocative artistic exploration of the sea, one of the most spell-binding phenomena characterising our Mediterranean island. The artist probes into a fresh and different creative lens, exploring the mystery and mesmerizing elements of the waters surrounding our little island through different experimental watercolour and oil painting techniques.

The work presents the artist’s most recent renderings, featuring an extensive body of colourful, appealing, and lyrical artistic expressions. This collection weaves together Galea’s figurative and abstract interpretations into intriguing results, crystallising one of the most captivating natural elements of the Maltese islands. The exhibition will be showcased at Palazzo de La Salle Galleries, from the 8th to the 29th of April, at the Malta Society of Arts, Valletta.
