Variations On Emergence MSA x ACM Residency Closing Event

For ‘Variations on Emergence’, the MSA x ACM studio residency programme, our resident artists Alex Weenink and Claire Farrugia were given a dedicated studio space within our building Palazzo de La Salle. Over the course of the project they have made that space a home and used it to experiment with their work.

Join us on 4 December at 6pm for a Closing Event where you will have the opportunity to see what Alex and Claire have been working on for the past 6 months.

This project is a collaboration between the Malta Society of Arts and Arts Council Malta.

This residency was inspired by the concept of emergence – a term often used to distinguish a stage of an artist’s practice. The MSA and ACM residency programme takes an expansive and experimental approach to this term with an understanding and excitement for what it can mean for an artist and their craft.
