58th National Competition & Exhibition of Photography 2023

The annual National Competition & Exhibition organised by the Malta Photographic Society will be held at the Art Galleries of the Malta Society of Arts from the 1 to 21 December 2023. The official opening will be held on Thursday 30 November.
The Malta Photographic Society proudly announces its 58th Annual National Exhibition of Photography, a longstanding tradition that has evolved into a symbol of artistic excellence. Among the 900+ submissions received from 99 photographers for the yearly competition, a careful selection of 107 prints and 150 digital images has been curated to grace the walls of our Art Galleries. These outstanding pieces of art emerge from the creative minds of 79 dedicated participants who engaged in the national competition held last October.
The exhibited photographs span a diverse spectrum, from emotionally charged compositions to highly artistic masterpieces and timeless classics. It is with great pleasure that we note the consistent improvement in the overall standard of photography year after year. We invite the public to witness this visual symphony, as the exhibition opens its doors from the 1st to the 21st of December, free of charge. A testament to the rich artistic tapestry of Malta, this event promises to captivate all who walk through its doors.
