Għeżież, nixtiequ nistidnukom għal dan il-palk ħieles, organizzat mill-istudenti tal-MCAST tat-tieni sena fi ħdan l-istitut tal-arti kreattiva li qed isegwu l-kors tal-arti performattiva. L-għan ta’ din l-attivita hija li jinġabru fondi għall-produzzjoni tal-aħħar tas-sena li bħala studenti jtellgħu.
Qed iħejjulna serata qari, atti performattivi u xarba inbid bejn il-ħbieb biex bil-kontribuzzjoni tagħkom, tgħinuhom ifaddlu biex itaffu ftit l-ispejjeż tal-produzzjoni.
B’hekk jistidnukom nhar il-Ħamis 23 ta’ Frar mis-19:30 il-quddiem, ġo post maestuż, fil-bitħa tal-Malta Society of Arts, il-Belt Valletta biex flimkien niltaqgħu, u naqsmu ma’ xulxin xi kitbiet jew performances li nixtiequ.
Miftuħa għal lingwi differenti bit-tema tal-ġisem. Kulħadd mistieden biex jipparteċipa, iżda dejjem tista’ tiġi biss biex tosserva, tisma’ u tgawdi. Fil-bidu tal-avveniment ħa jkun hemm waħda mill-istudenti, b’karta f’idejha tniżżel l-ismijiet ta’ kull min jixtieq jaqra. Kemm tavvicinawha.
Ftit dwar xogħolhom: din is-sena ħa jkunu qed jaħdmu mal-komunita’ ta’ nies li għaddejjin minn eating disorders u l-professjonisti li jaħdmu ma’ din il-komunità. Ha jaħdmu għalenija ma’ Dar Kenn Għal Saħħtek għal saħħtek, fejn hemmhekk qed iwettqu workshops imnebbħa minn metodi differenti tat-teatru biex bl-iktar mod leali joħolqu ix-xogħol tagħhom.

They have prepared an evening full of various activities such as reading, performance and drink. Your contributions will help them to address the costs of their theatre production.
We invite you to join them on Thursday 23 February from 7 30pm onwards, in a majestic venue – the courtyard of the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta so that together we can share poetry, art and a glass of wine.
Readings can be in any language, and related to the theme of the body. All are welcome to participate but you also have the freedom to attend and observe and enjoy. At the beginning of the event, one of the students, will be taking down the names of those who wish to read. Just make contact with her as soon as you arrive.
Some information about their work: As part of their studies, the students are required to put up a theatrical production working within a community at the end of their scholastic year. This year the students will be working closely with a community of people who are going through an eating disorder. The students are working directly with patients and professionals in this community. In order to work faithfully and accurately with this community, Dar Kenn Għal Saħħtek are giving the students a space to host workshops consisting of different theatrical methods.
