Goldfish Through Summer Rain – Flute & Piano Concert

8 June | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Goldfish Through Summer Rain

Music for flute and piano by Katie Bycroft and Sally Goodworth

Taking its title from one of the works in the programme, this concert will showcase some well-known and loved pieces from the flute and piano repertoire, as well as introducing less familiar composers and their work. With an emphasis on Impressionist music of the early 20th century, we will guide you through a variety of beautiful soundscapes including music by Philippe Gaubert and Ralph Vaughan Williams.

We are pleased to be raising money this evening for Villabianca Centre for Music and the Arts, a project of The Malta Trust Foundation. This centre was established in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength in its provision of music therapy, adapted music lessons, and many other musical, therapeutically informed, and creative arts-based opportunities for children and young people who otherwise would not have access to the arts. Please give generously and support this vital work which enhances the lives of so many children and young people with disabilities and their families in Malta.

Tickets at the door – suggested donation of €10

All proceeds go to Villabianca – The Malta Trust Foundation
