Classical Guitar Workshop
With Quatuor Éclisses
This classical guitar workshop with Quatuor Éclisses invites participants to work closely with one of the leading guitar quartets featured in the Valletta Guitar Festival programme. The session is open to solo guitarists as well as already established ensembles, offering tailored guidance on interpretation, technique, ensemble communication, sound balance, articulation, and musical expression.
Participants will have the opportunity to receive direct feedback on prepared works, whether performed individually or as part of a group. The workshop will focus on refining musical ideas, strengthening performance awareness, and developing a deeper understanding of the classical guitar repertoire.
By working with Quatuor Éclisses, participants will gain insight into the discipline and sensitivity required for both solo and chamber performance. The workshop is ideal for guitar students, emerging performers, and ensembles seeking a focused, constructive session within an international festival context.
The Valletta Guitar festival is organised by Festivals Malta in collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and Pjazza Teatru Rjal and supported by the Ministry of Art, Culture and National Heritage. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, KM Malta Airlines, the French Embassy in Malta and VisitMalta.
