Open Call for Exhibitions at the Art Galleries of the MSA, 2027 – 2028
DEADLINE EXTENDED
NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 15 July 2026
We are excited to announce the call for exhibitions to be part of the MSA’s exhibition programme for 2027 and 2028.
The MSA is now accepting applications from visual artists and curators for prospective exhibitions to be held at its Art Galleries in 2027 and 2028. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and forward-looking programme.
The Art Galleries and the Chapel may be booked for a minimum of three weeks, with exhibitions generally opening on Thursday evenings.
Artists are responsible for installing, labelling, insuring and selling their own art works. The MSA provides mounting materials and does not charge commission on sales. All display materials must follow MSA specifications. Artworks cannot be removed during the exhibition without approval, and any additional staffing or reception arrangements must be requested in advance.
Following the applications’ deadline the Chairperson of the Arts Advisory Board will appoint the Selection Board from the approved pool of experts, to shortlist the applications that satisfy the criteria in the Standard Operating Procedure. Selected applicants will be asked to sign the Exhibitions Contract.
The MSA’s Art Galleries feature nearly 200 square metres of dedicated exhibition space spread across four connected galleries, with warm parquet floors and beautifully decorated canvas ceilings which merge the Modern and the Contemporary. They are kitted out with adjustable lighting and hanging equipment.
Submission Deadline: 15 July, 2026
