In this 4 session workshop students will learn how to hand-sew a vintage-look teddy bear made from professional German materials.
The aim of this course is for the student to:
– learn to hand-sew their own old-world teddy bear
– use professional eco- friendly materials that do not harm the environment, instead of using synthetics
By the end of the course you will be able to:
– transfer the pattern and cut out the fabric;
– hand-sew pattern pieces to form the shell of a simple teddy bear;
– fill and give weight to the bear with eco- friendly materials;
– insert a traditional joint in the neck;
– insert glass eyes on a loop;
– create the face of the bear and give him his own unique character; and
– decorate the bear as a final touch.
