Synopsis of course:
The course aims at introducing students basic and elementary aspects of playing the piano. It provides practical session on posture and finger technique, relationship between basic theory and practice. The course provides instructions which will bridge the difficulties students may encounter when relating theory to practical application.
Aims & Objectives:
Acquire elementary technical and musical awareness
Understand the basic feature of the pianoforte
Understand rhythmic values
Acquire basic competences to read terms and notations
Develop abilities play the piano
